Spring is only days away, and we’re celebrating with the launch of our new menu at Scotchmans Restaurant.
Highlighting a brand-new "From The Grill" section, this menu showcases the finest regional meats, prepared with simple, yet perfectly executed grilling techniques that let the quality shine.
"From The Grill" features include Roaring Forties Lamb from Tasmania and Victoria, produced in partnership with third-generation farmers, O"Connor Beef from the pristine pastures of Gippsland and Bass Strait Beef, sourced from farms near Bass Strait, known for exceptional grass-fed beef.
Executive Chef Hamish Hames’ European expertise is also on display, with dishes that reflect his signature style.

Our much-loved Scotchmans Hill Riesling is back with its 2024 vintage.
Brilliant, pale straw in colour with glistening green highlights, it has a bouquet of fresh citrus—lemon, lime, and a hint of mandarin complemented by green apple, ripe pear, and a trace of white flowers.
This Riesling is crisp and invigorating on the palate, showcasing a perfect balance of bright acidity and ripe fruit flavours. A touch of honeyed sweetness and refined minerality add complexity.

NEW WINE RELEASE! 2018 CORNELIUS SUTTON CHARDONNAY
Sutton Vineyard, a favourite among Cornelius connoisseurs, has delivered yet another exceptional vintage. Awarded 95 Halliday Points, this Chardonnay is described by Cellar Door Manager Sonya as a "masterful balance of fruit-driven characteristics, fabulous palate density and richness, all lifted by lively acidity."

Chief Winemaker Robin Brockett hails 2017 as "the best Pinot year in 15 years", with James Halliday awarding it 96 points:

Introducing the 2020 Cornelius Blanc De Noir, made from grapes that come from our famous Norfolk Vineyard, the oldest on the estate.
This is the first time this wine has ever been released and Chief Winemaker Robin Brockett is excited to share with you what he considers to be a jewel in the Scotchmans Hill crown.

We are thrilled to introduce our newest arrival the 2017 Cornelius Strathallan Syrah. James Halliday honoured it with 96 points. Chief Winemaker Robin Brockett describes it as an
"Exotic style of Syrah, a lot of spice, dark red plum, cherry, but also a little bit of sappiness. A wine of great character and a wine that will age for a long, long time." Robin Brockett
2018 CORNELIUS KINCARDINE CHARDONNAY
Rich and ripe bouquet of nectarine and grapefruits, a hint of burnt match stick, spice with creamy barrel ferment oak delivers great complexity.
The palate is fresh with mouth-watering acidity which draws you in to the wine. With ripe nectarine fruits, a rich creamy mid palate and cashew oak finish, it keeps you coming back for more. This is built to cellar and will reward further cellaring over the next 5 to 10 years.
2017 CORNELIUS ARMITAGE PINOT NOIR

Rich and powerful bouquet showing dark plum and cherry fruits with spice, bramble notes, and earthy characters with cedar oak. It is a brooding wine with dark fruits dominating the palate with layers of spice, earthy flavours and cedar oak. This powerful Pinot Noir has plenty of ripe tannins and firm acid, giving the wine great structure and depth.

We are thrilled to announce that the 2022 Scotchmans Hill Chardonnay was included in the 2023 HALLIDAY TOP 100 WINES.A wine regarded as outstanding and awarded Gold 95 Points.
'270 Five-star wineries were invited to submit up to six of their best wines; the response from 190 of Australia’s best wineries was the submission of 989 wines. Chardonnay, one of the main white varietals, had 134 bottles submitted.’ James Halliday
