 Awards 95 Halliday Points
Tasting Note Complex wine displaying a plethora of aromas from flint and burnt matchstick to white peach, spice, barrel ferment notes all balanced by an elegant oak background. The palate is sophisticated with a juicy acid backbone. White peach, flint notes and a creamy mid palate makes way to a spicy oak finish.
This wine has been built for cellaring and will be rewarded by patience.

Halliday Wine Companion

Sourced from a single 1999-planted vineyard. Whole-bunch pressed to French puncheons (33% new), natural-yeast fermentation, 20% mlf. Tangerine and rockmelon fruit aromas with hints of jasmine and subtle vanilla spice. The gently creamy, textured and nutty palate finishes long with fresh stone fruits and a hint of grapefruit pith. 150 dozen made.
