Scotchmans Hill is thrilled to share that 20 wines received 90 points and above in the 2024 Halliday Wine Companion Awards. Our 2020 Cornelius Sutton Vineyard Chardonnay received an incredible result of 97 points! The 2024 Halliday Wine Companion has again awarded Scotchmans Hill the prestigious Top 5 Star winery rating, now held for over 20 years. Awarded to outstanding wineries that regularly produce wines of exemplary quality and typicity. Congratulations to our Winemakers, Robin, Marcus, and Pete, and all the winery and viticulture crew for another outstanding year.

The Melbourne Royal Wine Awards is one of Australia’s oldest and most respected wine shows, recognising and rewarding excellence in Australian winemaking. Scotchmans Hill is thrilled to announce that our newly released 2021 Scotchmans Hill was awarded Best Victorian Shiraz & the prestigious Trevor Mast trophy for Best Shiraz of Show. The 2021 Scotchmans Hill Shiraz was also in the final top six wines in the country for the most prestigious wine trophy in Australia, the Jimmy Watson Trophy. This is an incredible achievement by Robin Brockett, Marcus Holt, Peter Armstrong and all the winemaking and viticulture team, and recognition of their passion and hard work in producing another exceptional vintage of cool maritime climate Shiraz.

This show is solely for Victorian wines and allows us to bench mark ourselves against other wines from within the state. This includes our 2018 and 2022 Trophy for Best Rose in Show.
