Mid straw with a slight green tinge. Bright in appearance. Complex and lifted bouquet of citrus, lime peel, floral characters with toasty notes. The palate is tight and dry with citrus flavours and a mineral backbone which gives great length and persistence.
Wine Region: Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria. - Clone: Geisenheim 198. - Soil Type: Self mulching black verosol derived from tertiary basalt. - Harvest Date: 16/03/21. - Yield: 2.1kg/vine, 2.1tn/acre, 5.25tn/ha, 36.75hl/ha. - Winemaking: Whole bunch pressed, fermented at 13°C for 14 days, extended less contact 4 months. The wine was then stabilised, filtered and bottled June 2021. - Cellaring: 2022 to 2027.
