Cruise across the bay to the savour some of the oldest and most renowned wines of the Bellarine.
Journey in comfort on board Port Phillip Ferries, to be delivered to the coastal town of Portarlington.
A courtesy bus will be waiting at the pier to deliver you to Scotchmans Hill Winery. As you arrive you’ll admire breathtaking views over the vineyard and Port Phillip Bay.
In an intimate private tasting experience, you will enjoy 2 brackets of wine, including some exclusive wines. You will be greeted with a taste of our Swan Bay Vintage Brut Sparkling on arrival and led by an expert member of staff on a wander to see the original Pinot Noir vines at Scotchmans Hill to learn about our unique terroir. From the vineyard it’s straight to our Private Tasting Room perched above Scotchmans Hill’s new Cellar Door where you will enjoy a tutored tasting of two brackets of 5 wines whilst looking back towards Melbourne. Enjoy the different wines with a delicious lunch of freshly made platters of antipasto and cheese, and try a few different pairings!
After the private tasting, the courtesy bus will take you to a second winery on the Bellarine Peninsula (destination subject to availability) where you can sample more wines and purchase more food if you wish.
This exclusive experience is limited to 20 people
$75 per person
Price includes return ferry ticket from Docklands, Melbourne, transport to the winery, the private tasting experience and tasting at a second winery.
Once private tasting concludes the courtesy bus will take you to visit another local winery in the region, before heading back to Portarlington.
11am Depart Docklands on the ferry
12.30 pm Arrive Portarlington
1 pm Arrive Scotchmans Hill
2.30 pm Private tasting experience concludes
Depart Scotchmans Hill for second tasting at another winery
3:45 pm Depart second winery and return to Portarlington Pier
4.15 pm Ferry departs Portarlington back to Docklands.
