BH17 - 2013 Ferryman Pinot Gris
Lifted perfume, nashi pear and bath salt aromas, citrus notes with a waxy edge. The palate is full and ripe with pears, citrus fruits and spice. This is balanced by a firm acid backbone.
Sourced from vineyards that lie on the fertile red soils of Red Hill, 30km to the east across a Scotchmans Hill. Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed with best free-run juice run to tank. Fermented in tank at cool temperatures and spent 6 months on lees post ferment. Racked and bottled October 2013. 14% ABV.
