“Pebble Bay” from Marlborough, New Zealand.

In the Wairau Plain and Awatere Valley, both sub regions of Marlborough, viticulture has been developed principally on locations with moderate, low fertility and stony, sandy loam top soil overlying deep layers of free-draining shingle. Our vineyards reach into these soils generating wines of distinctive and pure flavours.

Cape Le Grand - Western Australia The Browne family of Scotchmans Hill are pleased to announce a new range of wines to be included in our family owned brands. “Cape Le Grand” from Western Australia. When our winemaking team set out to find the best fruit possible for this wine, we found it, along with the magnificent national park of Cape le Grand. White sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, the most magnificent wildflowers and a group of sunbathing kangaroos.

Divided into several subregions (Albany, Denmark, Frankland River, Mount Barker and Porongurup), Great Southern provides an ideal environment for cool-climate viticulture, creating distinctive regional wines.

Single Vineyard

Single Vineyard These wines are made in extremely limited quantities and represent the pinnacle of winemaking based on the Scotchmans Hill philosophy. The fruit is sourced from single vineyard sites on our estate which have been identified as producing the best quality fruit. Extremely low yields, careful vine management, fruit selection and traditional winemaking techniques are used to produce these handcrafted wines.

    Swan Bay Located on the Bellarine Peninsula, Swan Bay was named by Commander Matthew Flinders in 1803. The fruit is sourced from cool climate regions of Victoria and is vinified at Scotchmans Hill. The Swan Bay wines are fruit driven wine styles of quality and consistency which are generous in flavour and designed to be enjoyed in their youth.

    The Hill

    The Hill The Hill is named after a high point from which the canny Scottish settlers could view race horses. The fruit for this series of wines is sourced from South Eastern Australia and vinified at Scotchmans Hill. These vibrant wines are fresh, fruit driven styles which are crafted for early consumption.
